Carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP)
Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFK) is also used in our assembly production, e. g. for the roof of a sports car manufacturer. The special advantage of CFK here is that it is light, strong and durable. These properties make the composite material made of interwoven carbon fibers, which are usually bonded together in an epoxy resin matrix, interesting for automotive construction.
We guarantee the special requirements for your products with regard to quality and delivery reliability in the assembly production by adhering to clearly described processes that are regularly audited by testing organisations. In this regard we refer to our certification according to IATF 16949. In order to ensure the highest level of quality, already during the product development phase, various in-line process monitoring systems are used, such as e. g. component interrogation by sensors, adhesive seam or welding current monitoring. Checking fixture recording tests and SPC measurements as well as tests of welded joints by means of microsection and ultrasound completing our quality processes.
