Executive Board visit to SZAE

At the end of August, we had our Group CEO Gunnar Groebler as a guest at SZAE. Constructive discussions were held with the management and the works council. During a tour of the production facilities, he was able to familiarize himself with the processes at SZAE and get an idea of the fact that a piece of Salzgitter AG is present in many of the vehicles. It was also shown that the entire process chain can be covered within the Group, from steel production in Salzgitter to the ready-to-install processing of steel and aluminum at SZAE.
During the tour, Mr. Groebler also took the opportunity to talk to colleagues. 

He was also impressed by one of our occupational safety ideas: Mirrors are hung at the plant entrances to make it clear who is responsible for occupational safety - namely the person looking in the mirror, i.e. the employee himself.
