New intelligent lighting concept in our production facility in Malbergen

After months of preparation, an intelligent lighting system was put into operation at our production site in Malbergen in October. 
This was made necessary by the fact that a new emergency lighting system had to be installed and by the generally tense situation on the energy market.
The sustainability aspect also played a major role, as we are constantly striving to improve our sustainability by minimising our CO2 emissions and thus reducing our ecological footprint. 

An intelligent LED lighting solution including daylight control was favoured from the outset. Experience has already been gathered within the Group, all of which has been positive. 
By fitting motion sensors, lighting as required and utilising daylight, the lighting is now adjusted automatically. 
This improves energy efficiency, reduces CO2 emissions and provides a more pleasant working environment for colleagues.

Using special software, evaluations can be made from the entire hall to the individual lamp, allowing consumption to be continuously optimised. 
The first few weeks have been very positive. Looking ahead to 2024, we anticipate a high double-digit percentage saving in kWh for lighting.
